Yudee Uzowulu Named Finalist for Women in Business Excellence Award at 2025 African Business Awards

London, UK – The African Business Chamber (AfBC) has announced Yudee Uzowulu, CEO of Ninos Global Technology, as a finalist for the Women in Business (WIB) Excellence Award at the upcoming African Business Awards 2025.

Set to take place on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel & Conference Centre in London, the awards will celebrate African entrepreneurs, executives, and innovators who are creating measurable impact across industries. Yudee’s nomination highlights her exceptional work in technology, digital transformation, and talent development.

Originally trained as a lawyer, Yudee made a bold pivot into the tech industry. That decision reshaped her career. Today, she leads Ninos Global Tech, a group of companies that deliver custom software solutions, app development, and project management training. She also founded Really Not Rocket Science, a platform dedicated to helping individuals from non-traditional backgrounds break into project management and PMO careers.

Her professional experience spans banking, IT, telecoms, and financial services. Yudee is known for applying systems thinking to solve real-world problems. In 2019, the Financial Times named her among the Top 100 Black Ethnic Minority Leaders in Technology. More recently, The Guardian (2025) listed her among the Most Outstanding and Impactful Women in Leadership.

“Being recognised alongside phenomenal African women across sectors reflects the scale of impact we’re creating,” Yudee said. “This is more than an award; it’s a celebration of those who build, teach, and open doors for others.”

To date, she has trained and mentored more than 500 professionals, many of whom have transitioned into high-growth roles in tech. She is currently pursuing an MBA to further strengthen her strategic expertise.
Beyond business, she is committed to social impact. As a former trustee of Treloar’s, a UK-based charity supporting disabled youth, Yudee continues to advocate for inclusive leadership and long-term community development.
